ABCinENERGY seeks to encourage behavioural changes in energy consumption across Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to lessen their environmental footprint. The initiative empowers HEIs and their communities to take an active role in addressing the energy crisis, transforming them into key advocates for sustainability and fostering positive energy consumption habits.
A digital platform designed to educate and support university students, staff, and management in monitoring and promoting energy-saving behaviors
Consumption of water in activities like washing, cooking, or using restrooms.
Use of electrical devices and appliances across campus settings.
Transportation choices, such as walking, cycling, public transit, or driving.
Use of systems for indoor climate control, including heaters and air conditioners.
Individuals enrolled in academic programs, participating in campus life and learning activities.
Educators and researchers involved in teaching, mentoring, and scholarly work.
Personnel responsible for the management and operation of university services and facilities.
